Painting in May

Such a lovely month to be able to enjoy the new emerging plants and foliage and the bright days when they appear! Creatively it enables a fresh look upon the landscape and the vibrancy that is evident all around us helping to inspire and energise my art.

I am still in the process of building my new studio and it is now up to the plastering stage, not long now! In the meantime my work is still evolving although a lot more slowly and smaller in scale. I have found the expreimentation quite welcome and are striving for something to change and pushing boundaries with my painting. Do you find yourself wanting to push out of existing ways of working?

So there hasn't been much finished work over the las few months but there are plenty of paintings available through my website and I am looking forward to getting going in my new space soon!
