September Newsletter

Hello and welcome to my latest newsletter regarding all things art and creativity. Its been quite a busy few weeks getting back into some kind of working phase as well as going on a trip to Snowdonia and the surrounding area, its such a beautiful and dramatic landscape and hopefully will provide a lot of inspiration. If you have never been I would highly recommend it as there are not only mountains but beautiful coastlines too.

I have just added my latest painting to my website which is titled 'Holding the Light' a piece that was inspired by the area around the Ogwen Valley in North Wales. The mystical beauty of the light tranformed the landscape and made it such a special memory. You can view it here by going to my website and clicking on paintings.

The weather is changing and it is one of the best times to get out into the landscape and experience the change all around us, as it all feeds into my paintings and creates a new palette of colours to be inspired by. I have been working predominantly in my sketchbook which seems like most of the summer and know that these are the peaks and troughs of an artists life and hope to get back to painting in a larger scale soon. I will add a few images here and I hope you have an excellent Autumn and will see you next month! :-)
